Product Safety Instructions for BMX Cranks:
Proper Compatibility: Ensure that the cranks are compatible with your BMX bike's bottom bracket spindle and pedals. Pay attention to the spindle diameter (19 mm, 22 mm, or 24 mm) and chainring standard.
Secure Installation: Tighten the crank arms evenly and securely. Regularly check the bolts and nuts to ensure no connections are loose, especially after intense rides or stunts.
Bottom Bracket Condition: Regularly inspect the bottom bracket for play and smooth rotation. Worn or defective bearings affect stability and ride quality and should be replaced immediately.
Secure Chainring Mounting: Ensure that the chainring is securely and correctly attached to the crank arm. Regularly check the bolts for tightness to prevent slipping or twisting.
Crank Axle Inspection: Regularly check the crank axle for cracks, bends, or signs of fatigue, especially after hard landings or crashes. Replace damaged axles immediately to avoid accidents.
Maintain Chainline: Ensure that the chainline is correct to minimize wear on the chain and sprockets and allow smooth pedaling.
Check After Intense Stunts: After jumps, grinds, or tricks, inspect the cranks for deformation or damage. Damaged cranks affect riding safety and should be replaced immediately.
