Who is Ryan Nyquist?
X- Games
Probably the most famous competitions in the BMX scene are the X-Games. Nyquist has often taken part in these and has also taken home several gold and silver medals. His collection has been growing almost every year since 1998.
Family man
Alongside his career, the BMXer is raising 3 children with his wife Ali Schoen. They live together in California, Nyquist's home state. Presumably for his children, he has also accepted a feature in the children's series "Kim Possible", in which he plays himself as a special guest.
From pupil to teacher
Nyquist now not only rides in competitions himself, he is also allowed to have his youngsters perform stunts and tricks as coach of the USA national team. His aim is to lead the USA Cycling BMX Freestyle Team to the Olympic Games.
Multi-talented
In addition to his BMX talent, it turns out that mountain biking is also in his blood. In 2016, Nyquist rode twice in competitions for his sponsor "Haro Bikes" - in the BMX and MTB categories.
