Intended use: Halflink bicycle chain for compatible BMX drivetrains used for Street, Park and Grind riding. The chain has a BMX size of 1/2" x 1/8" and 86 links. Before installation, ensure that the chain, chainring, sprocket and rear hub are compatible in pitch, width and design.
Installation / use: Install the chain correctly and adjust it to the required length. Use only suitable tools and connecting methods when shortening or joining the chain. Ensure that all chain pins are correctly positioned and securely fitted. After installation, check chain tension, chain alignment, secure connection and smooth drivetrain operation. Before every ride, inspect the chain for damage, loose connections and stiff links. Never reach into the moving chain or other moving drivetrain components.
Care and cleaning: Regularly remove dirt and deposits from the chain and lubricate it with a suitable bicycle chain lubricant. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents or solvents. Especially after grinds, jumps and hard landings, inspect the chain links, pins, alignment and tension for wear or damage.
Replacement due to wear: Replace the chain immediately if excessive elongation, damaged or stiff links, loose or damaged pins, cracks, deformation or other safety-related defects are detected. A damaged or incorrectly installed chain may break or derail, resulting in loss of control and injury.
