The O’Neal SONUS Youth REX helmet is a high-quality BMX and freestyle helmet for kids and youth, combining maximum safety, comfort and modern features. Ideal for BMX, MTB, dirt and pump track riding.
The durable ABS outer shell provides reliable protection, while multiple ventilation openings ensure optimal airflow and cooling. The ultra-plush inner padding is removable, sweat-absorbing and washable for long-lasting comfort.
A key feature is the Fidlock® magnetic buckle, allowing easy one-handed opening and closing while maintaining maximum safety. The pre-shaped shell design ensures secure goggle strap guidance. Additional features include a height-adjustable visor, Airflaps™ compatibility and optional break-away visor screws for added safety.
The helmet exceeds EN1078 bicycle helmet standards and also meets the ASTM 1952 downhill standard.

Intended use: Bicycle helmet designed to protect the head while riding BMX, MTB, dirt, pump track and similar sports. Suitable for children and young riders with a head circumference of 48–50 cm. Exceeds EN 1078 and also complies with the ASTM 1952 Downhill standard. No helmet can provide complete protection against all injuries.
Usage instructions: Inspect the helmet for damage before every use and adjust it correctly. Fasten the chin strap securely and adjust all straps properly. The helmet must sit level on the head and must not move during use. Replace the helmet immediately after any severe impact or crash, even if no visible damage is present. Do not modify the helmet.
Care and cleaning: Clean with a soft cloth and mild water only. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents, solvents or bleach. Clean the removable padding according to the manufacturer's instructions and allow it to dry completely. Do not expose the helmet to excessive heat or direct sunlight for prolonged periods.
Replacement in case of wear: Regularly inspect the helmet for cracks, deformation, damaged straps, buckles or worn padding. Replace immediately after a crash, visible damage or signs of material ageing, as the protective function may be reduced.
