Intended use: Adjustable Ahead stem for compatible bicycles with a 1 1/8-inch fork steerer (28.6 mm) and handlebars with a 25.4 mm clamp diameter. The angle can be adjusted from -10° to 90°. Use only with compatible fork steerers, handlebars and headsets.
Installation / use: Install the stem correctly on the fork steerer and secure all clamping and fastening elements to the specified torque. Position the handlebar centrally and correctly in the clamp. After every adjustment of the angle or handlebar position, recheck all connections for secure fastening. Before every ride, inspect the stem, adjustment mechanism, handlebar, fork steerer and fasteners for secure fit, play, cracks or deformation.
Care and cleaning: Clean the stem regularly with water and a soft cloth. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents or solvents. Regularly inspect the clamping surfaces, joints, adjustment mechanism and bolts for corrosion, wear and secure fastening.
Replacement due to wear: Replace the stem immediately if cracks, deformation, damaged clamping surfaces, excessive play in the adjustment mechanism, damaged threads or other safety-related defects are found. A damaged or incorrectly secured stem may cause loss of control and serious injury.
