Who is Marin Rantes?
A sporty child
As a child, Rantes was interested in various sports, such as soccer, handball and basketball. But once he started riding BMX, he couldn't stop and spent most of his time in skate parks in his home town of Zagreb. It was clear to everyone that he would later achieve great things with his BMX.
The rise
In 2018 he became UCI World Cup Champion. This was followed by further appearances at the European Championships and the UCI World Championships. He won several silver and bronze medals in these competitions over the years. In 2023 he even took 4th place in the UCI World Championships and 5th place in 2024.
