Although Yurii suffered a serious injury in 2022 and was about to stop riding BMX, he decided to keep going. The love for his BMX was too strong. With his recovery in 2023, he was also able to take home a number of medals.
Achievements
At the age of 14, Yurii took part in local competitions in Ukraine. He won various prizes in the cities of Kiev, Lviv, Khmelnytsky and Mariupol. In 2023, he took part in the UCI BMX Freestyle Park Contest and won 3 silver medals. At the 2023 European Games in Poland, Yurii rode for Ukraine and took 13th place and at the "Under Castle Games" he took 2nd place, alongside the well-known BMXer Declan Brooks.
