Intended use: Mechanical disc brake caliper for compatible bicycles with a Post Mount fitting. Suitable for MTB, BMX and other bicycles with a compatible disc brake system. Use only with compatible brake rotors, brake levers, cables, frames and forks.
Installation / use: Install the brake caliper correctly, align it properly with the brake rotor and tighten all mounting bolts to the specified torque. Adjust the brake cable and pad clearance correctly. Before every ride, check the braking function, fasteners, brake pads, cable and rotor. Do not continue riding if braking performance is reduced or uneven.
Care and cleaning: Keep the brake caliper, brake pads and brake rotor clean and free from oil or grease. Use only suitable brake cleaners. Regularly inspect the brake cable and moving parts for wear, corrosion and smooth operation.
Replacement due to wear: Replace the brake pads when the wear limit is reached. Do not continue using the brake caliper if cracks, deformation, damaged threads, stiff operation or other safety-related damage is present. Defective brake components may significantly reduce braking performance.
