Intended use: This reducer / adapter sleeve is intended for use on bicycles and BMX. It is designed to adapt a 1 1/8" fork steerer to a 1" head tube and enables compatibility between corresponding stem and head tube systems. Use is only intended for compatible bicycle components. Use on other vehicles or for other purposes is not permitted.
Usage / installation instructions: Installation must be carried out correctly. Before installation, check that the fork steerer, head tube and stem are compatible. The reducer must sit correctly and completely inside the head tube. All components must be installed and tightened according to the manufacturer’s specifications. Before every ride, check that the stem and adapter sleeve are securely fitted. Incorrect installation may cause instability and lead to accidents.
Care and cleaning: Use only water and a mild cleaning agent for cleaning. Do not use aggressive cleaners, solvents or high-pressure cleaners, as these may damage the material.
Replacement in case of wear: Regularly check the reducer for cracks, deformation or other damage. If visible damage or material fatigue occurs, the component must no longer be used and must be replaced.
