Who is Declan Brooks?
Injuries
After Brooks joined the British Cycling Team in 2018 and moved from his home town of Portsmouth to Corby, the Brit broke his leg in training and was out of action for 6 months. When he returned, he finished 3rd in the World Cup. He suffered a concussion at the 2022 World Championships in Montpellier, but was able to win another bronze medal at the 2023 European Championships.
Stunt rider
Before joining the UK national team, Brooks was a stunt rider for Cirque de Soleil and other films and commercials.
