Ernests Zēbolds

Zebolds entered the world of cycling on a mountain bike at the age of 10. A year later, he got his first BMX. Since then, it has been an integral part of his life. He has been part of the KHE MAC team since 2023!

Who is Ernests Zebolds?

Latvia's best

In 2023, Zebolds won the Latvian national championships and can therefore call himself the best rider in his home country of Latvia.

Climbing the career ladder

His career really took off in 2016 when he won the FISE at the age of just 17. This was followed by many other competitions in which Zebolds finished well, such as the Urban Cycling World Championships in 2018 and 2021-2023 and the European Freestyle Championships in 2022. There he took 5th place in the "Freestyle Park" category. He achieved 4th place in the European Games in 2023. In 2024, he also rode in the UCI BMX Freestyle World Cup and achieved 14th place.

Time management

When he began to ride BMX at an increasingly high level, the question arose as to how he could juggle school and sport. But for the then 17-year-old from Latvia, it was clear: homework first, then fun.
